Big day at Cameron Park Zoo

My co-worker, Liz, asked me last week if Cait and I would like to go to the zoo with her two boys, Andrew who is 4 and Matthew who just turned 1. I told her we would love to go with them since Sean has drill this weekend and we didn't have any plans. Sean and I took her to show her off to my old co-workers last week but I didn't have my camera. I remembered it this time so this is our "Big day at Cameron Park Zoo!" You will notice a theme here!

We're getting ready to go. Got our Girraffe bib on and everything, I hope Jeffrey likes it!

Can't forget about our Elephant hat...well I guess it's still a little too big for her head so we just took pictures and then I put it in the diaper bag just incase it got too sunny while we were out...

This is what she looked like when we arrived at Cameron Park Zoo. Asleep but then she woke up for a few minutes while I was getting the stroller out and all her accessories...

Cait really likes the Monkey that swings by on her Safari mobile so I brought along the beany baby Monkey she got just incase she had a major melt down and needed to see something comforting.

Ahh..the Gibbons. How cute are they...

Caitlin was super impressed, can't ya tell!...

Yay, Rhinos. They had a lot of hay to eat...

Again, Cait was super impressed...

This was Cait in the middle of our trip, still super impressed...

Cait had to show off her Giraffe bib to the real Giraffe. I think the Girraffe was super impressed!...

Caitlin looking over the African Savanah at another Giraffe, Kudu, and I think there's a Geranuk in there somewhere...

Caitlin in the aquarium, look at all those fish...impressive...

Looking at more fish, hug that monkey Cait....

This was after I woke her up to feed her about noon. I took her out of the carseat and carried her the rest of the way in the zoo so thus the end of the super impressive Caitlin pictures (I only have two hands). We hope you enjoyed Cait's trip to the zoo! She did stay awake for about an hour after this, she was awake in the freshwater aquarium which she really loved watching those fish swim by and the turtles they have in with them.

By the way, in case you've lost track, Caitlin is three months old today! She is holding her head up very well now, she likes to blow bubbles at us, stick her tongue out at us and if you stick yours back out at her she tries to do it too. She doesn't like tummy time but will tolerate it for a little bit but she likes her swing, her bouncy seat and her playmat. More to come in the next month!!
