We missed having Ben come with the family for this visit but what could he do...he wasn't even in the country! Next time though! Well we did get some very cute pictures of the other 3/4's of the J-14 clan!

Gillian and Colin

Gillian and Colin were very good at posing for pictures! They are so cute and we were so very glad to have them stay with us while they were here! It made for some interesting living arrangements but we made it all work! Like I said before, Cait and Gigi stayed in Cait's room, well Colin had some trouble in the pack-n-play that was set up in our bedroom so we ended up putting him in Emily's crib and then Emily slept in our room. They all slept great after we made that change!

Caitlin was SO excited when she found out that Gillian was coming to visit! She had already decided that Gigi would stay in her room and wear one of her "pretty dress nightgowns!" Well, luckily for everyone, this plan actually worked! We were all a little nervous how this was going to pan out but Gillian and Caitlin went to sleep every night after we put them to bed with almost no trouble, and slept through the night. Gillian woke up the first morning crying a little for her mommy but after I reminded her that she was at our house and her mommy was coming back she was just fine! And after that, no more tearful mornings!

You wouldn't have been able to tell they hadn't seen eachother in over a year! It was wonderful watching them play together!

All Together at Last!

For the first time ever, and it only took 9 months, the cousins were all together! Michelle, Gillian, Colin and my dad drove from Kansas to see us for a few days this past weekend. We took the oportunity to take some pictures of them together! Thanks Mandy for coming in to visit and for taking these wonderful pictures of our gorgeous kiddos!

9 Month Well Check

We had Emily's 9 month check-up today and she is a very healthy little girl! She is 21 lbs 13 oz (90%), 27" long (25%), and 17.5" (75%) head circumference! She had to have a finger stick to check for anemia today too, poor thing!

In other news, I noticed at the doctors office that she has finally gotten her first tooth! And the second one is not too far behind! I'm so excited for her but sad in a way too...I'm going to miss that huge gum-y smile of hers but I know that her huge tooth-y smile will be just as adorable!

Emily is 9 Months Old!

Emily turned 9 months old yesterday! She is such an amazing, happy baby! She started crawling about two weeks ago and is getting better every day. She started with the commando drag-your-whole-body crawl but is now on hands and knees and on the move. She still doesn't have any teeth but that doesn't stop her from eating more solid foods. I cut up some steamed green beans last night and she ate them up! She actually started pulling herself up before she was crawling and that seems to be her favorite thing to do right now! She is becoming a lot more aware of toys now too! She and big sister are learning how to share! Big sister is doing very well so far! Emily adores Caitlin and Caitlin adores Emily! I love watching them together! We will go next week for Emily's well check so I'll post stats when I know them!
