Do you see that picture of the baby on the wall? That is Caitlin at 1 day old...remember her? Well this is how big she has gotten! One of her favorite things to do these days is cheese in front of the camera! Here are two pictures of Caitlin, the first is her cheesy picture and the second is her real smile!

Cait's First Haircut
So Caitlin's hair has gotten so long that it was time to trim it for the first time! We talked about it last summer since it was so hot but just never got around to it with everything else that was going on! Well this year doesn't seem like it's going to be any different...it's already 85 in March! I've been debating where to take her to get it cut then I decided that every kids first haircut should be that cruddy at home cut that only a Mother can give! I don't think I did too badly! But I'll let you decide!
Caitlin's hair tonight while she played on the swing
Caitlin's hair after her bath tonight
AND...Cait's hair after her first haircut! I took about 5-6" off. If I'd have been brave and taken off a little more I could have sent it to Locks Of Love but, alas, I was not that brave...maybe next time!
Swinging
I love Daylight Savings Time! We've been able to let the girls go play outside for a little bit after work/school the past few days and it's great! Emily seems to really like the swing and I think Cait thinks it's neat to swing wtih her sister! I'm pretty sure Emily digs it too!
First Real Sickness :(
At the begining of March Emily was having some allergy problems. Well, as you can imagine, she was rubbing her eyes a lot and could not leave them alone so it turned into pinkeye...yuck! So, I took her to the doctor and got the drops and that cleared up the next day, yay! Then she goes back to school and develops a fever (102.1) so they send her home. We got her fever to break the next day which was great so we sent her back to school. Everything was ok until Friday when she developed a higher fever (103.1). It took all weekend to get that fever to break but it finally did but she still has a terrble cough. She hasn't been sleeping well at all which means that we haven't been sleeping well either. Two weeks down...hopefully not many more days to go!!
Emily Turns 7 months old!
Emily turned 7 months old on March 2nd. Can you believe she's 7 months old already? She is still a very good eater. She picked up eating off a spoon almost immediately, which was very nice for me! She does however, hate formula. I haven't been able to keep up with her having to pump at work and we ran out of my stockpile in the freezer, so she's had to have 1 formula bottle a day at daycare. She gives them a hard time with it and so they have to mix a couple of her bottles a day! Otherwise, she is growing up so fast and she is developing her own little personality! We just love her so much! She sticks her tongue out at everything and we've decided that means she really likes it!
The Color Run-Dallas
Catching up a little bit here...
Back in February Mandy and I ran the Color Run 5K in Dallas. It was so much fun! There were two requirements of the race...1. Wear a white shirt and 2. Have fun! Well we definitely succeeded in doing both!
This was at the begining of the race. We made our team shirts and bought the socks to be classy! This is Mandy and me after the race...perfectly colorful! It was so much fun, we can't wait for next year!
And I saw this Mammoth after the race, so, of course, we had to have our picture taken with it!
