We were invited to my co-worker's oldest son Andrew's 5th birthday party a couple weeks ago. They had it at a splash park by the Brazos River. This was Cait's first time at a splash park and she loved it!

I just wanted to update you all on what's going on in our hectic lives! The fall semester started on Monday. That means that Sean has started his 2nd semester of the RN bridging program, yay... one more after this, and I started Microbiology. I also start working full time officially next week but I was supposed to work 5 days this week since school started and it takes up my Monday and Wednesday mornings BUT that didn't happen! Cait has her first ear infection, not so yay! Daycare called about 3pm on Tuesday saying she had a fever of 103.2 so I went to pick her up and it was down to 102.4 so the Tylenol/Motrin train started! We took her to the doctor yesterday and she is now on an antibiotic. She is doing fine, luckily we have a very happy child and even though she's not feeling well she smiles and laughs through it all (well except at night when she can't seem to fall asleep but that's another story for another time!!)
Hope everyone is doing well! Please say some prayers for Cait to get well and stay well and for Sean and me as we take our classes, both work full time, and try to save some time for our family too!!

Off to the swimming pool!
Cait and I had a very fun-filled weekend! We had about a 4 hour drive to Jasper to start the whole trip off. She did very well... slept most of the way and played with her octopus and moose when she was awake. We rested up on Saturday and woke up on Sunday morning and went for a walk. That afternoon we all went to the pool where Cait got to sport her new safety jacket a la Ariel and play in the swimming pool floating thing!

Fish Tales...
Lake Sam Rayburn trip
Caitlin and I drove down to Lake Sam Rayburn to go fishing with my parents. They were staying a week and had invited all of us to come but with Sean's work and school schedule he couldn't go.
This is us in the boat on the lake! Safety first!
Cait also got her first try at driving the boat. Looks pretty confident doesn't she? she did a great job too!
This is just a great picture!

After Bath Fun
New Ways to Sleep...
Cait had decided that the wedge we'd been using to help her sleep was more of a thing to roll over rather than to lay in so we decided to just take it out of her crib and let her sort it out. She has found out that sleeping on her tummy isn't that bad!
She has also been in daycare for 3 weeks now and she does NOT take naps there! There's too much going on with the other kids but she has had a couple days that they wrote down she slept for 45 minutes so not too bad! But this past week I went to pick her up all 3 days. Wednesday she was asleep in one of the swinging chairs, Thursday she fell asleep in this car-like exersaucer, too cute not to take a picture! and Friday she was falling asleep in another bouncy seat while having a bottle! This kid can sleep anywhere when she's tired enough!
Her first tooth!
Today Cait and I woke up around 9:15, I thanked her for letting me sleep in a bit, then got her dressed and brought her to the living room to feed her. Put on some cartoons on the tv, which were more entertaining than being fed (even though she was acting like a starving kid a few minutes earlier!). She nursed for a minute or so and stopped to see what was going on with Baby Einsteins and I saw her rubbing her lip across her gums, very odd I thought so I put my finger in there and sure enough I felt the sharp tip of a tooth! This is what her gums look like so you can't see it yet, but I'm sure it'll make itself known soon!
